  1.  How do I replace my fob if it breaks or is lost?
    Contact Blackburne. Please note you will be charged a replacement cost. 
     
  2. How do I book the common area for a function?
    Please email the details of the function to Blackburne who will forward the request to the Council of Owners for approval. You will be notified of the outcome as soon as possible. Please note that large group functions may require a deposit in case of any damage.
     
  3.  I’m a tenant, who do I contact for maintenance issues in my apartment? Who do I contact for issues with common areas?
    Landlords are responsible for arranging the maintenance of leased properties. If the issue concerns common property, please contact the Building Manager.
     
  4. I’m an owner, who do I contact for maintenance issues in my apartment? Who do I contact for issues with common areas?
    Maintenance issues relating to your apartment are your responsibility. If the issue concerns common property, please contact the Building Manager. Please report all renovations or other potentially disruptive activity to the Blackburne before commencing.
     
  5. What do I do if a car is parked in my carbay without my permission?
    Please do not contact Blackburne or the Building Manager as they are unable to assist with the removal of the vehicle. There are signs in the carpark with the details of a wheel clamp company.
     
  6. Who do I contact to remove wheel clamps?
    Contact the company shown on the signs in the carpark. Please note that Blackburne and the Building Manager are unable to assist in the removal of wheel clamps.
     
  7. What do I do if I trip a circuit breaker?
    Contact the Building Manager to assist you.
     
  8. What can I do if my neighbours are being too loud?
    Noise disturbance between 10:30pm and 7:00am is not permitted. If this occurs when Saffron security are present, please ask security for assistance. If it occurs on other nights, please call the police.
     
  9. What can I store in my carbay?
    Nothing may be stored in the carbays other than licensed vehicles.
     
  10. I’m moving furniture in/out of my apartment, who do I need to tell?
    Residents moving in or out of Saffron should inform the Building Manager.
     
  11. I have just moved into Saffron, who should I contact for information about the building?
    New owners should contact Blackburne about obtaining important information relating to Saffron’s strata management.
     
  12. I have just moved into Saffron, do I need to connect to any services ie power?
    No, you do no need to create a new power account for your apartment, the power will already be connected. Saffron has the one power provider and each apartment has it’s own meter. Owners are billed for their usage by Blackburne. If you any queries about this, contact Blackburne.
